To encourage hearing health this Deaf Awareness Week, Gatwick Audiology will be holding two Open Days on Wednesday, May 8th at the Dorking Ear Care Centre, at The Medwyn Centre, Dorking and Friday, May 10th at the Pulborough Ear Care Centre, at The Pulborough Medical Centre. The Open Days will include FREE hearing tests (only by prior booking)  and will showcase the latest advancements in hearing care and provide invaluable insights into maintaining hearing health.

There are more people living with hearing loss than diabetes, coronary heart disease and cancer put together! The number of people with hearing loss is also expected to rise to 14.2 million people by 2035.

The UK Council on Deafness created Deaf Awareness Week to increase the visibility of challenges the deaf community face and educate others on how they can support them and the week takes place from 6-12th May.
